Principles of Economics
HONORS
Welcome!
Economics: "a social science concerned chiefly with description and analysis of the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services" SOURCE: m-w.com
Principles of Economics is an honors-level introductory course in macroeconomics. It corresponds with "Econ 201" at Middlesex County College and students will have the option to earn credit at MCC (click here for info; fees apply).
As this is a college-level elective, it is expected that students will use time outside of class for reading and exploring related current events, and actively participate in discussion.
As the text is a mix of macroeconomics and microeconomics, we will not use every chapter.
